INDO-PAK RELATIONS AND ITS FUTURE...

HII people....being INDIAN...my very first post is on INDIA itself..
Not only on INDIA but also on very much of its part in past i.e. pakistan ( pak + i + stan)i.e. (land of clean) but is not going well as per its name....
A lot more controversies....many more solutions proposed....discussions and discussions....but result.....scorn feeling among people of india n pak for each other...
i am not here to discuss about INDIA-PAk partition problem, POK issue.. Bangladesh partition... Kargil war or jehadi group working against INDIA with consent of ISI or paki govt... FOR that i will also need to mention activities of RAW n IBI against pakistan....
Time now...is not to consider that who was wrong n upto what extent....n its not about pardoning each other for their offensive sins but to understand that by stretching this war we are making ourself weak and letting others (usa n other countries) make profit out of it.... I dont think that people on both side havnt heard about story of two cats n monkey..... but really dont know why people forget very first lessons of their life when they become old...
About usa n European making profit out of it...let me tell u...
According to an estimate , b/w may 1999 and may 2009, employment in US private sector only rose by 1.1% , by far lowest 10 years increase in post-Depression period. In health sector it was negative! Manufacturing sector shrank by 20%... NO prize for guessing where the growth come to SUPER POWER of WORLD!!... Military production has more than doubled since 2000 and added thousands of jobs....According to US congressional research Service report on 'conventional arms transfer to developing nation' in 2006...Washington agreed to sell $ 10.3 billions in weapons to "developing world" ( ;))... Russia was second with $ 8.1 billion Britain was third with $ 3.1 billion and GUESS BUYERS???? PAKISTAN topped with $5.1 billion followed by INDIA with $ 3.5 billion and sauthi Arabia with $ 3.2 billion....
This was about OTHERS interest in our mutual MISUNDERSTANDINGS..... Even if we are least bother about this even then...should not we think about our upcoming generations who would rather like to see more opportunities for them rather than more wars....
LETS NOW MOVE to INDIAN point of view on future of our relations.....

Again here we have two groups- one who want peace and others who DONT..
Lets discuss about view of those people who DON'T want peace...some valid reasons they give.... Pakistanis regimes had done much to destabilize india by terror attacks and they haven't taken any initiative in having peace nor shown any interest in same... We are the stronger one...then why should we always initiate such steps...willnt it give them message that we are peace wishers because we are weak...???
Points may b valid...A case can be made to remain hostile towards pakistanis, but the case for peace is stronger. Sometimes in life...it is about taking the better option even if doesnot appear MACHo.. If making peace with pakistan will give indians a better life than hostility then we have to keep trying for this....
India's military budget is $ 40 billion..making military expenditure 3% of the annual gross domestic product (GDP)...what if we have used this money in our economic development?? Is nt there an economic value for peace as well??
We want peace with pakistan not beacause we love pakistan but WE LOVE INDIA...peace is just a desire to live and let live...We need peace not only beacause its morally right thing to do but also because it is practical....As we are much developed country than pakistan and we have much to loss in War than our enemies....we want development in india not destruction...And those who say that we are strong side should not forget that both sides are nuclear....so no one can over power other in any of state....ONLY DESTRUCTION will overpower both of countries in case of WAR..

Next point is how??? How can we do it without intent of our neighbours?? Again point is valid....however to hope for any intent there need to be democracy in pakistan as under military rule...peace initiatives from their side are almost impossible. Therfore india should campaign for democracy in pakistan....a stabilize neighbour is more of our interest....Of course this isnt overnight process...so steps should be taken soon to help pakistan to be stable enough ( rather than destabilizing it, if our intelligence agencies are doing so as a revenge), so that it doesnt interfere with india's development in upcoming years...
Finally...just because peace efforts are difficult, dont be skeptical about them. Attempts at peace may or may not be succesful, but nobody even tries, there won't be any hope. After all " ALL WE ARE SAYING IS GIVE PEACE A CHANCE"
